Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Play Every Season (playeveryseason.com) collects, how it is used, and how it is shared. Play Every Season is a community advocacy site supporting Article 12 and the proposed renovation of Vito Capizzo Stadium at Nantucket Public Schools. It is not affiliated with the Town of Nantucket or Nantucket Public Schools as a municipal entity.
What we collect
Play Every Season is a static informational website. We do not require accounts, and we do not use advertising tracking pixels.
The one place where we collect personal information is the contact form on the site. If you choose to send us a message through that form, you provide:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The content of your message
We do not collect this information unless you voluntarily submit the form. If you do not use the contact form, we do not collect any personal information from your visit beyond standard web server logs (see below).
Standard server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard web server logs when someone visits the site. These logs may include your IP address, browser user agent, referring page, and the time of your visit. These logs are used for security and performance monitoring and are retained according to Vercel's data retention policies. We do not use these logs to build profiles of individual visitors.
Who we share it with
Contact form submissions are transmitted through Formspree, a third-party form handling service, and then delivered to the Play Every Season team by email. Formspree processes the message temporarily to deliver it and applies its own privacy and retention practices.
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any party unrelated to responding to your message. If you ask a question through the contact form that requires input from Nantucket Public Schools or another partner organization to answer, we may forward your question — but we will not forward your personal contact information without your consent.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as they remain relevant to an active conversation or to ongoing community outreach around Article 12. Once a conversation is closed, we periodically delete older submissions. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see “Your choices” below).
Cookies
Play Every Season does not set its own tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set minimal cookies for essential functionality and anti-abuse protection. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or social media tracking cookies on this site.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the contact form, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Confirm whether we hold any personal information about you
- Delete any contact form submission you sent us
- Correct any information you submitted
- Opt out of any further communication
To make any of these requests, email hello@playeveryseason.com with the subject line Privacy Request. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the way we operate the site or changes in applicable law. When we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review the policy periodically.
